Trip Program: 10 Day Guided Private around Morocco Tour starting from Tangier

Day 1: Meet you in Tangier - Chefchaouen

Today you will meet Go Sahara Tours team in tangier and drive to see one of the famous sights Tangier, Hercules cave, then we continue towards Chefchaoun via the Rif mountains to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains till we get to the blue city of Chefchaoun, the heaven of the photography where you will get the first contact with Moroccan culture. Overnight in Chefchaoun

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

After the breakfast in the Riad our journey will start towards Volubilis crossing Ouazan and other Rif villages, in Volubilis we will stop to discover the Roman ruins and learn about the archeological site of Moroccan history , after the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes city the 17 th century heritage where we will stop for lunch and hang around the historical huge walls of the medina, Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay Ismail’s mausoleum. after the discovery of Meknes city we continue to Fes for overnight.

Day 3: Fez Guided Tour

Today is for exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, the first Mellah ever built in as well as the most interesting sites of Fes with a professional guide. Overnight in Fes

Day 4: Fes - Merzouga Dunes

Early morning we start the day towards the Sahara from the Riad in Fes, crossing near the national park of Ifran « the Switzerland of Morocco » as it calls. To enjoy its beauty and to have memorable photos, a break will be taken. After that, we will head towards Azrou to see the Barbary Apes Merzouga monkeys in the cedar forest. We Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. By the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizi N Telghomt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges which offers amazing photographic opportunities. Later on, we will have a stop in a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud the capital of fossils, where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that, we will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi. Arrive at the hotel and get ready for a camel ride for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset. Overnight and dinner in nomad tent campsite.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todgha gorges – Dades gorges

If you wake up early enough, the Sahara desert offers an amazing sunrise. Afterward, you’ll peacefully ride the camels back to your hotel in the edge of the dunes appreciate in the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes with first lights. After breakfast and shower, we will leave towards Todgha gorges well known as an important destination for rock climbers. The highest and narrow west gorges in Morocco, where we can do some walking before arriving at Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation.

Day 6: Dades gorges – Ait ben Haddou – Marrakech

We will start our tour driving via the road of thousand kasbahs to reach the valley of the roses; always spectacular in April and May when the roses bloom. We head towards Ouarzazate city, then to Ksar Ait Ben Haddou the most restored ksar in the south which classified by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. We make the visit to the site and enjoy lunch there. We continue to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas mountain range via Tizi N Tichka pass 2260m with beautiful sceneries towards the small valleys and Berber villages. Arriving at Marrakech late afternoon and night in a Riad.

Day 7: Marrakech Guided Tour

A full day sightseeing tour of Marrakech, one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco founded by Marrakech the Almoravid dynasty at the end of the 12th century and always an attraction for its unique history and culture. Our guide leads you to discover the most remarkable high lights of the city; Saadian Tombs, Menara, Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia mosque with its minaret, Bahia Palace, the Souks and the Djemaa el Fna Square. Free evening for different activities in the square. Night in the Riad.

Day 8: Marrakech – Essaouira

Essaouira is many tourists “darling” Previously known as Mogador to ttanger1he Portuguese inhabitants, it is a charming small town on the coast well- known for local handicrafts, especially thuja wood furniture, carving and small art crafts, sold in innumerable shops along the windy streets. After being there around the midday there is free time to walk by the cost and experience the Atlantic coast of Morocco. Night in Essaouira

Day 9: Transfer to Marrakech / Casablanca

After exploring and relaxing more in cost, we drive back to Marrakech / Casablanca or back to tangier

Day 10: Transfer to Marrakech airport
